I feel that All-Clad makes good cookware and their copper core series is by far their best, but the Stainless series is good too. The stainless series is also about half the price of the copper core, making it a great choice for those of us who can't afford the copper core series. Honestly though, an expensive pot will not make you a better cook, just like owning a Mercedes will not make you a better driver. This is a piece of cookware for the cooking enthusiast.
